One year has passed since that time, the Russian cargo company “Aviastar-TU” (according to EGRUL founder of the LLC “Stroyinvestproekt” and LLC “Consulting company “Dialog”*) has commissioned its first “foreign car” in the Park — medium-range aircraft Boeing 757-200F (reg. number VQ-BKK). In the first half of 2019, “Aviastar-TU” transported to 13.6 thousand tons of cargo, which is 11.7% more than in the same period last year.

In November the fleet, “Aviastar-TU” was joined by a second Boeing 757-200F (VQ-BPY), previously referred to in the airline “Yakutia”. The third Board of the same type (VQ-BBU) was commissioned in January this year. Thus, “Aviastar-TU” has become the largest operator of cargo Boeing 757-200 in civil aviation. One such aircraft in cargo version operates airline “iron”, which started commercial flights in the summer of 2018.

A good choice

The choice fell on the Boeing 757-200F due to their similarity with the Tu-204С, told the correspondent of “air transport review” commercial Director “Avistar-TU” Victoria Donkoglov, adding that many people do not immediately distinguish them visually. In addition, the operation of the new type is not demanded from the carrier strong changes in the equipment on these aircraft “Aviastar-TU” uses the same cargo pallet type PAG in an amount of 15 pieces (Tu-204С loaded 13 pallets).
